There are in fact eight different home tests you can perform for candida to determine your level. The spit test is a valid test, but like any test - it is best not used as a stand alone diagnosis for a yeast infection. My book Candida Crusher outlines the different tests in detail. Anybody with chronic and especially recurrent thrush will most certainly have intestinal candida to deal with. Yes, mercury Amalgam fillings are worth removing indeed, they can be a real headache. In fact, my yeast infection came about in the 1980's after thirteen Amalgam fillings were replaced with new ones. My health crashed after that, and I was seriously ill with candida within twelve months. Don't rush chelation, it can take one to two years to detox properly from mercury.
