L-ornithine makes you sleepy, and arginine apperantly gives you energy- I suspect that one is encouraged to use both to keep the process of ammonia-removal steady throughout the 24 hours of the day.
I had to order my ornithine online, I'm expecting it to arrive tommorrow.
In all honesty I've relied on prescription sleep aids with my seasonal insomnias- I've had 'em hard since my first Amalgam fillings, and am in the process of replacing them. I'd like to have more funds or smarts for zeroing in on natural sleep aids that do the job for me, but not that rich or brainy yet.
I have tried baldrian (mandrake root, with the poisons denatured), and it gives a very good drowsing effect for about two hours.
I have not tried valerian.
Kudos on the D3 and magnesium smarts!
