I believe the Jim Willie post from yesterday had him saying that beside the fudging of numbers the way they keep inflation perception in check is by throttling the economy..

You know the price of butter hasn't gone up lately because no one can afford to buy butter anymore and is now using 'It tastes just like Butter' rancid oil product instead..
