Onwards, I was looking forward to hearing you back on this forum and you've come back with such a glow! It is my dream to feel the way you do whilst overseas again. Last time I traveled I was at the start of my Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome and spend the whole time in a hotel and was in tears, remembering the times it wasn't like that, when i would be out enjoying the locals and culture of the country i was visiting. But you have given me hope that I will once again be able to "smell" and "feel" my surroundings.
So tell us, how did the treatment go over there?
Also you say you did not have much to eat except breakfast and late lunch/dinner? - I am beginning to feel that I might be heading that way also - eating when my stomach is ready and it seems and always has been that I am not hungry till late afternoons. IF i eat beforehand I crash the whole day. Food and I just don't mix. In general, are you now finding that you are eating less throughout the day?
Ah and you tried pork lard!... love it!! I am originally from Latin America and pork lard used to be our "vegetable oil" - and there was no health issue with it that I can recall till it got mixed with using vegetable oils and processed foods. Think since the introduction of vegetable oil there's been an increase of high blood pressure and inflammation. Never bought into the simple argument that something people have been eating for millennium was the reason for our so called high cholesterol and inflammation problems of today.
