When my scalp itching was at its worst, I put borax and cheap liquid clothes detergent into my bath and soaked in it for 30 minutes as hot as I could, keeping my hair underwater as much as possible. I did this every night for a week, and it stopped the itching. Also, I would put coconut oil on my scalp and put a shower cap on and leave it for about 3 or 4 hours, then wash it out with Sulfur 8 shampoo. It takes awhile to get rid of them, because they are laying eggs all the time. You have to treat constantly for up to a month to get all the eggs as they hatch.
