So its my understanding that undecenoic acid is more effective than the undecylenate salts because undecenoic acid can withstand a much wider PH range in the Gi tract than the salts. In other words, Calcium undecylenate is more dependent on a acidic PH in order for it to be effective.+ If someone has a decent amount of fungal candida its hard to achieve more of a acidic PH because fungal candida is always trying to produce an alkaline state. Salts(calcium etcc..) seem to better absorbed in a slightly acidic environment, something that fungal candida interferes with.

So it probably makes sense with people that have a good amount of fungal candida, Lack of good acids, lack of beneficial bacteria to stick with the undecenoic acid form.
