You can use magnets, crystals, any of a number of things and they all "work" on some level.  I've used many of them.  However, those are things outside of yourself and it is you the spirit who ultimately does the healing.  I have found that both magnets and crystals actually interfere with all healing processes after a while.  Find yourself a meditation technique - one that does not cross your legs, and practice meditation daily.  Start out first at about 20 minutes a day and work your way up to an hour a day if you can.  Here's just one web site that lists a few of the benefits of meditation.
