i love you

now that i have painted my kitchen and hall like a shaolin temple
i am told the yellow paint has too much green in it

it is pure yellow
bright sunshine yellow
yellow is a primary color
there is no green in it

she wants the walls to be yellow orange, not pure yellow
after i was told over and over that it needs to be very, very yellow
and i get the purest yellow i can find
the woman is hallucinating green

i am so frustrated with trying to please people who cannot be pleased, I cried
the landlord took pity on me, she said she could bring over some sponges and white paint and we could put clouds over the yellow to fix it up

i said that i did not want clouds
she suggested fauxing it with gold to tone it down
maybe i will let her fix it for them
i am tired of painting
