Armstrong also mentions an alternative diet, that is, fasting but in the evening eating a small meal of rice and vegetables, as I recall. He said that he had patients do this alternative when the urine fast was too difficult. Sometimes patients would return to the pure urine fast after taking a break with the alternative fast. And he also mentioned one patient having a healing success on the alternative diet alone.

Sometimes my retentive memory comes in handy...
