Had pain 3 years ago in spleen area and took 2 doses of Nature's Sunshine ParaCleanse(10 days on, 10 days off, 10 days on). It fixed the problem. A couple weeks ago I ate almost a whole bag of potato chips (me, the health nut) and it somehow immediately aggravated the problem, pain again in the spleen area. Toxic overload -- chips & parasites? The ND I go to found an enlarged spleen once again & I tested again for ParaCleanse plus some other products so started the program again. The first night I experienced intense itching in the spleen area which woke me up! This happened again the next night and then to a lesser extent for several days and nights. Today saw the "evidence" of parasites, about 50. The pain is gone! There is still somewhat of an itch in the spleen area. This time there will be no break in taking the ParaCleanse.
Both times this issue appeared I had befriended a feral cat in the previous year, not sure if there is a correlation.
