I don't quite believe in the bromide theory. Most detox reactions linked to Iodine intake are in my opinion due to the fact that Iodine is very effective at killing pathogens.

If you have acne, your liver is necessarily over-worked, and so are the kidneys, probably because of candida and/or parasites. Instead of liver flushing, try drinking beet juice several times daily at first. If detox symptoms are not too strong, go up to 8 ounces 2-3 times daily on an empty stomach. This will detoxify your liver. Also, consider taking milk thistle, dandelion and turmeric with meals.

May I ask how your diet is?
