What about mercury, though? That's buried within the cells. I took ALA for about 8 months before I stopped (I think I may have overdone it; side effects were starting to pile up). I'm planning on doing DMSA, but not right now. I'm using kelp right now, and it's helped with weight loss (though weight is collecting in the gut area, and it's "squishy", but I've lost a lot otherwise).

Anyway, will Bentonite really help with mercury? I figure when the mercury is gone, the candida will also be gone.
