My Husband had the same symptoms that included Gerd which we figured it out was from low stomach acid...not high stomach acid. By the time we are 50 yrs. old most have lost 50% of their stomach acid.

We both take Bragg's apple cider vinegar with the mother in it... 1 teaspoon in a cup of water just before your meal.
