I read somewhere that it's illegal just to transport it into the state, but I haven't reviewed the law so I'm not sure how accurate that report was. Maryland seems really paranoid about raw milk. They even cracked down on cow-sharing, which was a loophole that some people used.

But raw milk in Vermont is quite common, and legal.
