I also within a week that the mirena was placed I was diagnosed with the H pylori bacteria infection as well as a upper intestinal infection that causes thickening of the intestines. It took two trips to doctors, one trip to an urgent care center, and three emergency room visits, numerous x-rays, ultrasounds, and blood tests to diagnose the problem.

I had problems with my depresion after being on the same medication for over three years. I am now changing the prescriptions. I have had bleeding on and off and severe cramping and headaches. I know your pain the Antibiotics I am on are really strong and making me sick to my stomach. I am now having the mirena removed after only two months. I have heart disease and diabettes and will now have to have a hysterectomy just as a form of birth control.
