Inflammation and peeling are related. If the peeling stops but a bit redness remains I don't care much, it will decrease later, just a matter of time, always take care of the lips of course.

Longterm my lips still peel in 1/3 top 2/3 bottom.

MyPylon I didn't understand your second paragraph. I don't think we contradict each other.
