Why would you consider it starvation?

What is bad about coffee and tea on a water fast? And I didn't realize that bouncing between fasts was that bad. I thought it was a comfortable in between of the goofiness of the master cleanse, a typical juice fast, a Water Fast and office work.

If I stuck with one would that make me less thirsty? And I've read up little in ketosis, ill read more, I don't see how coffee or tea prohibits that. I'll begin reading more
