I do not remember John Armstrong (The Water of Life) ever talking about enemas, he obviously considered them unnecessary and he cured hundreds of people with only urine.

He said no matter what the ailment do the same thing - drink all your available urine each day while fasting on water and use some to massage your body for as long as possible each day (2hrs at a time) and wait until your condition feels like it has disappeared. Usually that took from 21 to 30 days although with severely affected patients on the edge of death it took up to 60 days. Some ailments were cured in 7 days.

For organ problems he also liked to put cloth compresses on the outside of the body closest to the organ for as long as possible and he liked aged urine for this.

No supplements were ever necessary.
