For the cough,  try the nebulizing in addition to the oral things.  The combo of CS, lobelia and mullein will help get the gunk out and help heal.  Get even better results if you add the Chinese herbal formula product ClearLungs.  Drizzling CS and echinacea should help relieve and heal throat irriation and infection.
