Thanks for your comments.

I always felt that in order to heal I had to look at the spiritual, emotional and physical aspects of getting sick. I think being an alcoholic and getting into a 12 step group was a lifesaver for me. It forced me to look at myself and all of my self defeating behaviors. Every day I had to make choices that were very different from the ones I was used to making. This has applied also to making different choices with food and a reliance on a higher power.

You are right about stress as a major contributor for AF. I find my daily attitude is so important. I no longer dwell on the past or worry about tomorrow. I just live one day at a time. I know that if I make good dietary, spiritual and emotional choices today, tomorrow will probably be ok.

I understand today that the bipolar was simply a nutritional deficiency and toxic overload. Plus lots of unresolved childhood trauma.

Getting healthy has been about change! Sometimes change is really hard because my old habits were so familiar and comfortable. It can be hard to break old unhealthy habits.

Yes my immune system broke down long ago. This has opened the door wide to parasites, viruses and bacteria. I understand today that I am this well because I treated myself for pathogens(sibo and lyme). The herbs and monthly meds that I take act as a secondary immune system until I can recover my own naturally.

Best to you on your healing journey!
