Tx Onwards for your remarkable story of triumph. Your story confirms my research about long term stress being the ultimate hidden major factor in CFS. Like you, over the years I've been diagnosed with many health issues like PTSD, PCOS, ADD etc. If I'm honest with myself, which is what I am now doing - I've had long term emotional issues hidden somewhere inside that have contributed to ultimately a complete breakdown of my my bodily functions. Logically speaking, if good nutrition is meant to be the source of good health, then stress which distrupts your body from functioning will also disrupt your digestive system hindering the body from taking up the few nutrients left in our food. No wonder we end up sick - full of toxins and malnutritioned - obviously our digestive and immune system has stopped working, this then again adds further stress to on our adrenals (like a viscous cycle). The adrenals and thus the whole body then just gets overburdened resulting in AF symptoms and related diseases.

Seems i'd been looking it upside down all along - working on fixing the body first in the hope that everything else will follow- when the key was in the hidden subconscious mind. It's a mind and body thing, one affects the other. Think we have to face that the lifestyle choices and mental health issues we might have hidden in the subconscious mind are ultimately contributing to AF.

I had a friend who suffered serious bipolar for decades- constantly hospitalised and was even treated with electrocution. Eventually she was ready to do something about it and took it onto herself to heal (no more meds). She discovered meditation and EFT tapping and changed her diet and environment (changed jobs and where she lived) and as a result she has been healthy and no more biopolar now for 10 years. I really believe that a major contributing factor in the cause of AF and perhaps even autoimmune disorders and probably the reason most of us are still finding it hard to recover from it is that there is a malfunction or breakdown in the way our bodies are handling stress. The mind may deceive you into believing that everything is good with your life, but it seems it just can't lie to the body!

I'm on that long road to recovery with NB and sorting out habitual issues that I now finally realise have kept me and my body in a state of self sabotaging. Lots of work still ahead but now i feel I finally have a better understanding of what results in in my body shutting down ie AF.

Thank you for being candid and honest with your story Onwards :)
