I have had some definitive results using (Dandelion, Red Corn silk, marshmallow, and some motherwort) AND/OR 2 x 00 capsules of Milk Thistle/Tumeric.
I was going to give away my huge bags of herbs (That place in Oregon, Mountain Rose I think) but decided to just mix it all up and try it as a tea. I put in a little lemon (ok??) and sugar, and its just fine!
I started taking both at same time, and one week later took my AM BP which was normally around 115/86 waking AM. Lowest was like 90/74 waking AM, but I got off of it for a day or 2 and it went back up, then now its just around 115/80 if I'm lucky.
So, Im doing the milk thistle to try to lower Triglicerides which are high/normal. Not sure which element is doing this. Ive had some earlier results with just Milk Thistle 5 years ago, but got off of it, and when I went back on, it never did the same thing. Getting off seems to push you back up, and it seems hard to get back down. But I did a BP reading just laying down after 20 minutes and BP was 118/80, which is not normal for me! (Also on Lisinopril and hydrochlorothizide whatever)
Always looking for other herbs that may help.
Black cumin looks good, but very expensive? Any one have luck with it?
