Well put. Paul Eck actually writes about this in relation to NB (don't worry I am not going to hijack your thread for another NB recommendation)

However, the world in general could use a little bit more thinking and a little less acting. But, I think us AFer's could use some more self confidence and a little less self awareness.

BTW - 'hawksfan' - you wouldn't happen to be a seattle seahawks fan would you now?
