I posted this in the hypothyroid forum but no one responded. Maybe someone here can help?

My friend just told me about her friend who lost 35 lbs in a month going on thyroid meds.

I was like, Oh. Nice. Since I basically have a liquid diet, eat right - no grains, no sugar, etc. I work out every day and I can't lose a SINGLE OUNCE!

I'm also exactly 35 lbs overweight.

But I don't want to go on meds.

I'm doing the nutritional balancing program as soon as I get my results back.

But why shouldn't I go on thryoid meds? I know there is a reason but I forget! :) Lol.
