Thanks again for the support. When I went to derm a couple weeks ago he said I had contact dermatitis, lick my lips and apply Vaseline. I was unsure about the lip licking, I tried it once or twice but it softened my scabs or whatever they are and then the Vaseline was too thick. I may try the heating thing, thanks Healing. I am scared of all the vaseline horror reports, I am cautiously applying it for now. I need some kind of a barrier. I tried cocconut oil and olive oil and even glycerine ( week 3 again, that was when the full blow obsession and mirror checking, "is it working?")
I have a bit of overbite so my lips are still tender where my teeth touch. Vaseline has helped that aspect. I have taken Benadryl too in case it is an allergy, some of the redness did fade somewhat.
