I ended up here on a similar extreme diet. I don't believe in extreme diets anymore. I don't think it is wise to exclude any food group. A good balance of everything is the key.
I had to stop eating bananas 2 years ago because the potassium and high glycemic issues from them were making me sick every time I ate even half of one.
