This would be similar to if this was the vit C supplement forum, and you took loads of oranges, or other high vit c fruit or berries.

You said it yourself; kelp is food.
There are loads of forums that support kelp supplementation as their Iodine source. As there are loads that support orange, amla etc. supplementation as their vit C (instead of ascorbates)and claim it is the only way to do it (been there)

There are only a few forums at CZ that supports high Iodine like we do. Very few.
And that is what we will keep doing.
