Yes, I am handy and will eventually make my own. But given the constraints of time (I don't want to catch the flu)and being a bit of an impulse buyer I made the $40 purchase for 32oz of 30ppm. Plus, I've a friend who is in Hospice and doesn't have time on her side. The product is made of distilled water and .9999 silver with nothing else added. Plus, with a name like Garden of Eden it just seemed like the way to go for now. Remember, I'm still a newbie at this but with the help of your site I'm well on my way. I don't want to discuss Colloidal Silver as a medicine because it would give the FDA just one more excuse to try and stifle continuing research on the subject. But I'm livid at what I am learning is a society which is not as free as I had previously thought. I applaud all of you for your efforts at sharing your knowledge and helping to promote research on this subject.
As I mentioned, I've a friend who's helping me with the construction of a colloidal generator. I've a magnetic mixer with hot plate and an Electrophoresis Constant Power Supply ECPS 3000/150 (overkill) leftover from a previous project. So I'm seriously pursuing producing my own Colloidal Silver . But because of everything I'm trying to build into the unit, the generator won't be ready for another week, and I've still much to learn about voltage, amperage, alternating current flow to the anodes, etc.
You mentioned somewhere between 5mA and 10mA would be the proper setting for approximately 27 volts if I were using maple leafs, is that correct? What I want is to build a controller which self adjusts to the anode size and type, the distance between anodes, the size of the container and changes in the resistance of the solution. If the unit can do it all, it will be like the Ronco commercial, "set it and forget it."
Again, it is the expertise shared by all of you which helps to make this possible. Therefore, thanks for your suggestions, they are greatly appreciated.
