Yes but Longterm,

Your treatment may have covered up your EC, but your EC may not be a wound. Also you said you don't have the big crusty scabs that most have to covering up your symptoms may be much easier. Believe me you cannot "cover up" what I had.

And as far as the inflammation your right its odd. I'm thinking that like mike pylons doctor was thinking, it may just take awhile of no more trauma until the inflammation stops. Like our body is constantly producing inflammation because its trying to heal the lips after the constant peeling but after you stop peeling your body could adjust to not constantly producing inflammation

But that's just a thought. But I will be looking into trying to decrease the inflammation more drastically in the future.
