It sounds like you went out to eat at an Asian restaurant. Chances are the food was loaded down with preservatives and MSG, which would definitely cause your issues. Sometimes it takes up to a week to clear these out of your system. Also, most restaurants use hydrogenated oils to cook with. I doubt it was actually rice itself, but how it was prepared and the ingredients used. This is why I avoid restaurants like the plague.
