i'm not really sure but i'll ask... if your lips are improving though that's a good thing... one would think inflammation would subside on its own... the only area i have noticeable inflammation is on the center of the bottom lip and it peels deeper there... the rest of my lips that have buildup are normal color underneath and the peeling is more superficial.
