Yes, go to a local butcher and get good bones, preferably orgainic. And chicken feet soup? lol. I am fortunate to have one of the old school local meat/butcher shops. I first asked for "chicken feet" a few years ago when I was into anti-aging and staying young - this would be pre-illness times.

The butcher laughed at me and said he has only had two other request....one from an asian couple, and another from a young woman who heard it will keep her skin young.

The woman who told me about it was from taiwan. I was told that to get the most benefit, suck the collagen out of the feet before discarding. No way. But it does make delicous broth, and you just discard the feet. My guy cleans them up for me cause he knows they gross me out. 16-20 feet simmered all day or for 24 hours.

A good bone broth should turn to gel when cooled, and can be frozen if made in large batches. Can be used as soup base, with added meat, veggies, and WW noodles, or just as broth. At one time I replaced my morning coffee with it. Add unripe green papaya and it will make your breast grow, but that's another forum.
