Theory that Omega 3 supplements promote general health and wellbeing in those individuals who would not get an adequate dosage of the same through their regular diet, is scientifically recognised. I too have taken the Omega 3 supplements at times, but each time it took me less than 48 hours to back out the exercise. I have a tendency to respect the backed up scientific theories, especially if they involve treatments by using natural products. However, I completely trust and rely on tangible responses provided by my own body. I've toiled with anxiety for a number of years, having anxiety free intervals for many months at the time and I do not take any medication. I can attest in confidence that in my case, Omega 3 supplements have as a rule, for whatever reason, generated the worst anxiety I have ever experienced, which would die down as soon as they were out of my system. Because I am on no medication which might obscure the working of the supplement itself, I can accurately pinpoint the significantly negative effect Omega 3 had on me. The brand I took is well trusted and conducts all the necessary testing for the product. Eating tuna or salmon, on the other hand, does not set off my anxiety. I hope no one has to experience something comparable with the use of Omega 3 as a supplement.
