There is a good test to distinguish bacterial overgrwoth from candida overgrowth. It is the 'gut fermentation profile' from biolab in the UK. I just sent my blood to them monday.
For years I have thought I had candida overgrowth. Treatmetns did nothing. I did a test Jorge recommended twice called candida complex or something like that and it was negative both times.
There is someone who used to post here called 'onthejourney' who had a great (and cheap) protocal. I think it would be effective for SIBO too as a lot of the things she did are also antibacterial (she was treating yeast).
