Could you please explain more about why your doctor says to put the Vaseline on moist lips?

You said "because it doesnt absorb". I assume you mean the Vaseline doesnt absorb? And how does the water make it absorb better?

Its interesting because I started seeing the most improvement when I started using the 'Biafine', which is my second prescription wound healing ointment. And I think the main reason it has helped me so much is because it clearly absorbs into the skin MUCH better than the Aquaphor and Hyaluronic Acid that I use.

Anyways I just started applying it to moist lips tonight so hopefully it will help a bit.
