Great additions to consider SeattleK.

I'm trying to shuffle through understanding hormones...imbalances etc...and get buried easily!

I really don't want to go down the road of just supplementing hormones and herbs to try to re-balance what's out of whack, without knowing what's the route cause of everything going awry in the first place.

It seems few endo's (let's even forget GP's at this stage!) really know causes - they just judge serum results and implement HRT.

Having had a fab wholefood diet for years, i don't know how much more 'dietary' adjustment i can personally do. I've been aware of toxins and junk for decades and avoid them. Yet i find myself swirling down a pit of hormone hell!


I'll add a list of xenoestrogens to this thread soon. It's handy to be aware of hormones in the diet and industry we might not be aware we're consuming.

(like my so-called natural deodorant which i find has high manganese in it!)
