A biopsy goes deeper than a swab. I had negative swabs for fungus, bacteria, and viruses. However, those swab tests only test for a limited number of fungus, bacteria, and viruses. Just because it was negative, it does not mean I have no fungus, bacteria, or viruses in my saliva.
