Liver flukes have a number of forms in their quite complex life cycle and most of the forms are are microscopic. A mature adult liver fluke can be as large as 4 inches long and is most often found imbedded in the liver. Adults large enough to see are very rarely seen in the colon so it would be very unusual to see one in your feces.
