Thanks for the explanation. I am into beet kvass big time. When I arise in the morning I am normally very thirsty and start my day with 2 tall glasses of the kvass. I suppose I can simply use water for a while.

The taste of Iodine is just fine with me.

How long should I wait before drinking kvass or coffee ?
