Hi,

Water fasting is really tough so I congratulate you for giving it a try. I think if you just pick something you can do such as water with lemon and intersperse some pure water days in for as long as you can then that's enough. I am dealing with a stage 4 cancer situation so I am very motivated to fast. I fasted on water 2 days a week while going through chemo and had great success. This was after eating an entirely raw, vegetable and nuts diet for a year with juice cleanses. Now I am ready for longer water fasts. My goal is to fast one week out of every month on purified water and fast 1-2 days per week on water the other weeks. I am currently on day 2 of water and plan to fast for 5 more days. I would be happy to be a fasting buddy if you need one.
