Hi.

I'm new to this community. I've only recently began to realize the horrible things we put in our bodies (unbleached flours, hdrogenated oils, fluoride, +100 other things). I am recently considering taking supplements to counterbalance dietary concerns. Example(s): digestive enzyme before a big american meal, B-vitamins after a drink, Aloe Vera juice to reduce gut inflamation. I used to buy the cheapest Walgreens vitamins I could find (Nature's Made), but started reading labels and realized that the gel caps have hydrogenated oil in them and my Vitamin C's were packed with a bunch of additives that I don't know what to make of (Cornstarch , Cellulose Gel , Croscarmellose Sodium , Stearic Acid , Rosa Canina (Rose Hip) , Silicon Dioxide , Magnesium Stearate).

So, I've been trying REALLY hard to find vitamins that aren't filled with bad additives. Comparing brands like Kal, Twin Lab, Country Life, Now Foods, Jarrow Formulas, New Chapter, and others. I'm finding that the $6.99 vitamins are usually filled with junk additives and the $50 vitamins are using more natural additives.

Are there any brands of vitamins, minerals, etc that you know of in-between these two price ranges that is committed to using only healthy additives if any? I can't afford $50 vitamins. It appears that the Now!Foods isn't all that different from the Nature's Made junk I used to get at Walgreens, but maybe I'm wrong. I've heard Twin Lab and Solgar are a good brands, but at this point I'm very confused.

Even a list of additives to avoid would be helpful. I know Silicone Dioxide and Hydrogenated Oils are two of them to avoid. I'm guessing it's a different answer for each product. One brand for Aloe Vera Juice, one brand for Omega-3s, etc.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR ANY HELP!

-Robert
