Dr Jeff explains this really well, Candida and flora imbalance/intestinal ecosystem synthesise B-Vitamins which produce Hydrochloric Acid needed to stop the liver from becoming congested!

Could be the reason for so many flushes...

I'm in the same boat, the hardest thing is to balance the body back into homeostasis!
