Thank you Glands. It means so much that people such as yourself are taking the time and effort to reply to me. I hope one day i'll be in a position to do the same for others.

I've heard a vastly mixed bag about natural glandulars. One thing that scares me about them is that with long term use they can apparently atrophy the adrenal glands. It looks like I have full blown Addison's so i'm not sure if my glands are already near destroyed. Also, are you are saying that things have to get worse before I can recover? If i knew I would be feeling wretched then I wouldn't feel so lost and would be more determined to hang in there. But still, not sure about the glandulars.

I'm not disputing the efficacy of Dr Lam's and Dr Wilson's protocol, but they seem to relate only to those with stages 1 or 2 of AF. I have purchased ashwaganda, jiao gu lan tea, milk thistle, inositol and choline, nettle tea, amongst several others, and have started with either a cup of nettle or jiaogulan per day, to no effect. I am scared that even with adaptogens my condition is too far gone to treat with anything except hydrocortisone. I am hoping and praying someone can tell me otherwise.

I've been taking acidofilus and digestive enzymes (one with betaine HCL and another with probiotics) for around a year now. I was taking 30mg zinc picolinate until two weeks ago but I've had to stop it for a month in order to take the 24 hour cortisol. I can tell you, since I've stopped it I've been feeling worse than ever, so obviously it was more beneficial than I realised.

I did/do have candida. Before I was aware of my adrenal exhaustion I stupidly went on a two month candida cleanse; heavy heavy duty stuff and lots of licorice extract which sent my cortisol bezerk. The candida seems to be 50% improved but I've still got some olive leaf extract tincture which I'm planning to take within the next few months.
