The liver doesn't store bile, that's what your gallbladder was for. Now bile continually drips from your liver into your duodenum. I'm surprised you didn't know that.

If all those green globules you see floating on the surface in your toilet after each *oil* flush are actually stones that were stuck in the bile ducts of your liver, your liver wouldn't have been able to function with the bile ducts being so clogged and you would be dead.
