I've been testing this theory and the results are way too random for the square root frequencies to still be targeting HCs intended bugs (based on the hit sensation and wiggle response). It does however appear to produce strong hits (maybe due to the nice decimal length) so at the very least it may be good to use as a "random number" generator if you're hunting for range.
