Keeping my room warm is what is causing the stuffiness and the feeling of cold coming on. When I keep the room cold, I feel fine. I posted this because I thought it might be helpful for others like myself who suffer from respiratory problems and excess mucuous/phlegm issues which I do. I'm positive extreme fluctuations in temps. causes respiratory illnesses.
For instance, I was in NYC a few months back and visited the Empire State Bldg at night. I let the guides talk me into walking up 8 flights of long stairs instead of waiting on the elevator which the line for that was getting long. After having walked up those long flights of steps, I started sweating profusely and was getting hot.
As soon as I stepped out on the cool 80th floor deck, I have to leave right away because the sweat was drying and I was coughing uncontrollably and I felt like coming down with pneumonia. So fluctuations in temp. are really bad. You have to stay in the same temps. to keep sickness down, I believe.
