Ammonia is alkaline and therefore obviously basic.
No I am not wrong, your post is extremely irresponsible, because you are putting people at risk promoting the erroneous notion that all aspects of the body are supposed to be alkaline. When you say "body" what do you actually mean. You can't just say "the body" is supposed to be alkaline. If you mean the bloodstream then yes, that area is supposed to be alkaline, but only slightly. I already mentioned this in my original post.
Spend some time doing some reading. The skin has a thin layer called the acid mantle as part of the innate immune system. Look it up, it's a fact.
The GI tract is primarily acidic, it has to be.
Why would the colon be full of acid forming bacteria. They actually form a major part of the immune system.
It's time that people like you started reading both sides of the argument. I have, I once was reading the stuff you have probably read and it doesn't make sense. It is completely illogical. Anything you eat or drink will immediately become acidified by the acid in the stomach. The pH of the resulting chyme is raised to a higher, but still acidic, pH as it enters the duodenum which can't handle the low pH that the stomach can. The body regulates the pH of the blood mainly via the respiratory tract through gas exchange.
Anyway read these studies, hopefully you can comprehend what they're saying.

I'd also be glad to read any peer reviewed literature that you can provide that supports your argument.
And please don't be fooled by the sales sites or believe in alkalinity like a religion. Just look at the facts, use your own intelligence and dont lie to yourself. If you want to beat candida you def dont want to make your intestines more alkaline. Also, the pH of your urine isn't even a good indicator of the pH of your blood. There's a blood test for that.
