Oh, to add to this. As it's been for past 18 months, I feel better than most "normals" when I stick to supplement regime, stay low carb (35g or less a day), don't drink alcohol at all, & generally am boring :D Lots of energy, good sleep, etc.
But, any cold or illness, or too strong supplement, and I can get derailed for weeks. And I can't stay on that regime forever. I'm only human.
So past 6 months have been better as no wheat, but still low carb is needed to keep blood sugars good.
So, again, figuring out the underlying reason for blood Sugar issues. Perhaps it's glucagon resistence (similar but opposite to insulin resistence). We're trying stuff, but meanwhile aiming not to get derailed.
But overall, life is good, no complaints!
