Hi Paulette, I so agree with Tizona. I applied for SSDI 3 years ago, and got it thanks to a good friend who coached me through each step. among other things she did tell me NOT to use a health condition that was not already well established & respected in the medical community. Sad but true. My disabilities have included chronic fatigue, agoraphobia, fibromyalgia and depression. You can use what you feel are "misdiagnoses" to your advantage.. because although you'll never find a doc to back up your claim of AF, insufficiency or any other malady WE know exists - you can ask these same providers youve seen in the past, to document what they found (from within the limitations of medical science) and by all means get yourself a good lawyer who specializes.. most do not make any money unless you win.
