Hello forum!

A new comer here with temporary 'brain fog' :/ :)))..

Ok, I am not in the US where u can buy that Lugol's Iodine solution that easily so I thought to go for local drug store options here...

I read that one person initially was painting Iodine solution on their skin so perhaps it is the way i will do for the time being.. I found two Iodine options (most probably) to apply on my skin so I would like to ask u all which one will do the job the best (if any) coz one of them based on alcohol of some sort and another one on glycerol. So based on that info i know by now, it seems second option could be better to me -

1) I will tell u the ingridients in it though - for 100 ml it is Iodine 1000 mg, Potassium Iodite 3000 mg, polyvinyl alcohol 9g, purified water 987g. It says it could be used for 3 years and only externally :/...
2) Another one (100 ml) is Iodine 1000 mg, Potassium Iodite 2000 mg, glycerol 94 g, purified water 3g. The recommendations on that instruction is to use externally but it seems like internal option is not as dengerous as it was stated in previous option but still...

If I go, say for #2 then I need to apply it on my skin in drops.. According to my (insufficient by now) readings it sound like 3% iodine solution and 2mg iodine per drop then to make it, say, 50 mg I need to have on my skin 25 drops a day (skin painting, go figure)?

So can u please tell me what option I can use and after choosing the one, should i apply it only externally or INternal option also would be welcomed?

Thanks a lot even for ur attempts to try and help me! :)

Nadia
